First and foremost, I felt that Dan Salisbury was an exceptional salesman.. I have never dealt with such a down-to-earth car salesman, as if he was my neighbor. He was very knowledgeable on the product he was selling, and without pressure. You could tell he was very experienced. He was an exceptional people person. I will be dealing with him for future purchases. The person I dealt with on the sale, and payment of the car, was a very pleasant experience as well. He was very efficient and made the process go very fast. A couple days after the purchase, with very little miles driven, "steering assist is reduced drive with care" warning popped up on the dash. I called Dan and told him about the problem. He said they would take care of it, had me bring it in to have it checked. He asked if I started it up again would the warning disappear, but it didn't. I took the car around the block and the air conditioner didn't work as well. After driving about 2 miles on the way to the dealership the warning did disappear and the air conditioner started working again. I brought the car in and talked to the service manager who was very knowledgeable about these cars. He explained how seldom this can occur and you might not ever have a problem again. He told me what to look out for if the problem would continue. He also helped me decide with his expertise and personal opinion about a warranty on this specific vehicle. I lost a lot of confidence in the Cadillac brand, but he reassured me that this isn't something that happens very often and that they don't see many problems with the Cadillac brand. He was very valuable in helping me restore my confidence and move forward with this problem. Dan spoke to the sales manager who worked out a 90-day warranty, parts and labor, should this continue to be a problem. I was hoping to get something a little more reassuring than that. What I was asking for was a bit of a reach, wanting it taken care of if I ever had a problem with it again. I agreed on the warranty, which Dan said if something happened in a hundred days we would still take care of it for you meaning if it's realistic timing from the purchase. He said that's who we are... and I appreciate that!! I felt Dan handled this whole situation very professionally. The car was in excellent condition for the year, and I felt I got a very good deal. Your dealership will be my first choice to trade up on this car in the future. Thank you so much for the professionalism your dealership possesses!!
